The Celebration!

We had so much fun on Sunday night! We had most of our family over for supper, cake, ice cream, and of course the kids favorite CUPCAKES!!! It was so nice to sit and visit with everyone! JA loved the attention he was getting! He received so many nice gifts from our family! I am so amazed! There is so much generosity! We are so grateful for the love our family has for us and our munchkins!
JA received essentially a whole new wardrobe to finish out the winter, through the spring and next fall! Then he received a bike from us, lots of fun GeoTrax Train stuff, a Thomas the Train Sticker Book (That no one can even look at without the wrath of JA) as well as blocks, and so MUCH MORE!!!! We are so blessed!
Here are some pics! There aren't many due to the chaos of the evening, but boy did we have fun!

From Joe:

-I was rushing to get Jake to school and told Joe to go hop in the Pilot. He looks at me and says, "I don't have shoes on! Silly Old Goose!"
-Jake was getting a lecture from me, and I asked him, "Jake, How old are you???" Joe looks over at me and says "He's SIX mom!" Like duh, how did you not know that? 04/10
-Today the boys were playing Jokester looks over to Jaker and says, " You HAVE TO TRUST ME ON THIS ONE!" Yes, he is only three. 2/10
We were driving Turtle's car, and Joe says: "Mom I can smell the Civic!" (as he is sniffing loudly) I said, "Really? What does it smell like?" He pauses for a moment then says, "DIRT!"
From the Jaker man:
-I told Jake it was time to do homework. Jake says to me, "Mom, if you let me do my homework later, I will be your best friend!" 4/11
-We brought little Courtney home and she was crying. Jake asked what was the matter, and I told him she was hungry. He jumps up and starts heading for the kitchen and says, "I'll go get her some milk!" 2/10
-I told the boys how their little sister would be born. ( I felt I should explain simply about the C Section so they don't jump on me!) Jake looks at me with huge eyes of excitement and says... "ARE THEY GOING TO GLUE YOU BACK TOGETHER????" I had to tell him, not quite... but close! 2/10
Jaker didn't want to go to church. He comes to me in the kitchen and says, "Look at my legs Mom. See they are tired and Itchy. I CAN'T go to Church." 1/10
-I was getting ready for the day and he comes into my bathroom, looks at me for a long time and then says, "Yep, Mom, I think your belly is getting WAY TOO BIG!" Thanks babe! I will keep that in mind! 12/09
-Driving home from school the little boy we tend says, "Yellow light means slow down." Jake looks at him gets annoyed and says, "No, it doesn't! It means PREPARE TO STOP!" Smarty pants! 12/09
